NCCC will be open for play in 2021/2022
under Covid-19 guidelines.
This time last year, we would have never imagined that we would still be in this pandemic. NCCC has worked diligently to provide a safe environment for our returning members and everyone who wishes to join our club this season.
We encourage our Members and Associates to come to our Open House week, October 25th to October 28, 2021, to see how our Covid-19 guidelines may have changed from last year. One big change will be – You will be required to show proof of Covid-19 full vaccination to access and curl at NCCC. So don’t forget to bring this information with you when you come to our Club. Someone will be verifying this information at the door. Verification will be done once if a Consent form for Recording Vaccination Status is signed. Otherwise, you will have to show your proof of vaccination every time you want to come to our Club. We will include this consent form with this package.
The registration form, the Declaration of Compliance – Covid-19, and the Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims and Indemnity Agreement are attached. The registration form with payment, along with the other two documents must be signed and received before you can curl. These can be mailed or dropped off in the outside box at the club the same as last year. You can also bring them to the Open House Registration nights. Just a reminder, the outside box is not secure and is also used to pick up forms if you are unable to print them.
We have an Informed Consent and Assumption of Risk Agreement form which needs to be signed by parents/guardians of curlers under the age of majority. This will be at the club for Little Rocks and Juniors registration.
Again, this year our registration form will also be on our website, www.curlingpugwash.org. You will be able to fill it out online and submit it to us. Then you will be able to e-transfer your payment from your online banking to email@example.com. In the comment’s box enter the category you are paying i.e., Member, Introductory, etc.
We will have access to our lockers this year. Since there is a limited number of lockers, it will be based on first request and payment. The cost of a locker is $25.00. The purchase of a locker will be at our Open House only so that we can keep track.
As in the past we are offering our incentive to pay early. If you are paid up by October 22nd, your name will be entered into the draw. This draw will take place the first week of November. This is open to full membership only. The winner will have the amount they have paid refunded, whether it is the entire $353.00 or the half year option of $176.50.
Our rebate of membership/associate fees policy will remain the same. It reads – “In the event of an illness or injury, or a move or transfer from the area and the member or associate is unable to curl, NCCC will rebate upon written request, 20% of principal fee paid (excluding HST) for each month missed of the curling season.”
